Recumbent Bicycle (Manufactured By: Life Fitness)
- Indvidual's back is placed firmly against the back seat pad. A lever on the bike allows the user to adjust the seat distance from the pedals.
- Placing both feet on the pedals and pushing one of the pedals as far away as possible determines this distance.
- The leg should be near full extension, but with a slight bend at the knee.
- Foot straps located on the pedals can be used to help secure both feet in the pedals.
- As shown in this picture, hands are gripped using the side handlebars with the palms facing inward.
