Make sure you are using a latex-free version if an allergy is present.
Before starting, always check the band for damage.
Make sure that the elastic band is wrapped firmly (but not
too tightly!) around your fists.
Adjust the length of the band so that there is just enough
slack/resistance and you are able to go through the
full or comfortable range of motion when exercising.
Avoid having the band pinch or pull body hair by covering the area of
skin that the band is touching.
Control the band to avoid snapping back.
The resistance increases when you decrease the distance between your hand and the band. You can shorten this distance by folding the band over.
As you increase strength, move to another color band for
increased resistance.
Store the band in a cool, dark location so it will last longer.
