Having the knowledge and ability to cook nutrient-dense foods in smaller portion sizes may help older adults enjoy a better quality of life and avoid or reverse some common health issues.  This toolkit includes suggestions for adapted kitchen tools to aid in preparing and eating healthy meals, as well as a series of recipes.  These recipes focus on protein, fiber, vitamin D, calcium, and fluids — all essential nutrients for individuals who are aging.
