Activity Cards to Enhance Learning

Quick Navigation

Visual support is more than decorations. Visual support such as posters, signs, objects, pictures, and cue cards are a fundamental part of Universal Design of Learning (UDL). The use of visual supports in learning settings offers reminders and reinforcements of how to complete a task related to physical education, a daily living routine, emotion regulation, or an exercise prescribed by a physical therapist or occupational therapist. The use of social support benefits students with great visual skills and can support these students to be more active, communicate better, and be successful while learning.

Description: On this page, you will find multiple different activity cards that are designed to help students better understand the directions visually while also providing teachers with information to break down each task. These cards can be printed out and displayed like a poster on gym or classroom walls, boards, projected on a screen, or individually for you to hand to a student.
