Smith Rack
- This machine is designed to work the chest muscles and muscles in the upper body,
especially the back muscles of the upper arm.
- The supporting cables ensure that the bar itself weighs close to nothing and enables
user to place any amount of weight on either side of the bar, yet still achieve a feeling
of equal amount of weight on both ends.
- Weight plates, located on the sides of the rack, are added to increase the amount of
resistance.
- The weight bench is adjustable - from completely flat and parallel to the ground (as
seen in this picture) to an almost perpendicular angle to the floor.
