The program is able to accommodate any age of individual with nearly any type of disability (i.e.: amputations, autism, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, speech and visual impairments, attention deficit disorders, and stroke). Horse-oriented activities can contribute to the cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being. These activities provide benefits in the areas of education, sports, therapy, and recreation/leisure. Many individuals benefit from the unconditional affection that the horses give their handlers. Each session includes 10 riding lessons that can be provided on an individual or group basis.
