Lakeshore Foundation is currently seeking an energetic, creative, resourceful, self-starter with experience in conducting lab testing for research related to exercise science.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct all Human Performance Testing (e.g., strength, balance, oxygen consumption, body composition)
Maintain laboratory area (equipment calibration, maintenance & repair, ordering supplies); oversee equipment checkout; order supplies
Responsible for keeping equipment in good working order and for contacting equipment rep for servicing equipment
Oversee all aspects of exercise testing for research, program evaluation, and athlete performance:
determine protocols; recruit and schedule participants; collect, enter, manage data
Process data; interpret and write up results
Training university students and conducting lab classes
Provide feedback to participants
Assist with testing methodology section for grant applications
Create data collection forms, spreadsheets, and flyers
Conduct literature searches
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master�s degree in Exercise Science or related field
Strong technical skills operating and maintaining equipment
Intermediate computer skills
Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and office managerial skills
Minimum 3 years of experience conducting lab testing related to exercise science and fitness testing for research
CPR, Standard First Aid and AED required (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
