Tabata is a workout that requires each exercise to be done for four minutes. For the four minutes you will do eight cycles of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. Take a one minute break after the four minutes and move to the next exercise.


If you have a smart phone you can download a Tabata app that does the timing for you. They are also sometimes called HITT intervals.
